Payments are made by the client’s credit card over a secure platform. You will be issued a receipt that you can submit for reimbursement for the cost of sessions through your health insurance if you have a plan that provides you with coverage for services by a Registered Social Worker (RSW).

  • Direct billing to insurance companies is not provided.

  • While psychotherapy services are not currently covered under OHIP, many health insurance plans provide partial or complete coverage for the cost of therapy sessions.

If you have health benefits, please check to ensure whether coverage is provided for therapy services by a Clinician who holds an MSW degree with a designation of Registered Social Worker (RSW).

As per the Canada Revenue Agency, health care professionals such as RSW’s are recognized as authorized medical practitioners and as such, clients may be eligible to claim expenses associated with psychotherapy services provided by an RSW as a medical expense tax credit on their income taxes.

Please refer to the CRA website for more information.

  • The goal is to help you with what you need, empower you, and build your capacity to address issues in your life. The number of sessions needed is not pre-determined and is based on your therapy wants and needs. We work together to decide what works best for you. As therapy is voluntary, you have the autonomy to decide. During therapy, I teach you skills and strategies that you can continue using even after you end therapy.
